Darkness falling

Hello, my name is Alexander. You may call me Alex if you like. Max already introduced me and some examples of my gay AF, dorky, edgy personality. One thing I forgot to mention in that though was I have anxiety and can get panic attacks. I did yesterday with a mix up with my Pre Testing for the PSAT. That wasn't fun. But that's not what I'm here to address, what I'm here to address is there's been several incidents going on since the start of the semester in August. Here's a brief timeline,

August:
Racially based highly offensive slurs are found on a Facebook page, insulting the student and their family. This incident starts the founding of One Wellesley, an organization to help promote unity within the school, and broader community.

September:
A nazi swastica is found in the language lab on one of the school computers. Principal makes announcement and topic is discussed in advisories (home rooms) currently under investigation. One Wellesley continues their work. Comments such as "So I see the freshman found the bathroom for when all the others are filled." Are heard when talking about the schools only gender neutral bathroom accessible to students located out of the way on the first floor of this [giant] school.

October:
The N-Word is found written in a girls washroom stall, this happened recently, other students were notified on Monday. Transphobic occurrences appear in a classroom against a student by their peers. Blatant homophobia occurs throughout the school against members of the LGBTQ+ community including, Max, Jack, Ben (the kid who I'm terribly trying to be boyfriends with)  and myself.

And because I'm cynical here's my brief view on the world currently,

The world's a confusing place, easy to get lost and fall through the cracks. How did we get this way? Stumbling nation's, mass extermination, the threat of war always at someone's door. When did we let fear rule? Where did logic and reason go when we need them more than ever? Would our ancestral relatives ever let someone like trump be able to hold power? The world is changed, I know my history well enough to get that. This year may change everything. Either way tensions will rise, and every tension has a breaking point. I fear that breaking point. Each day to wake up to either clamoring or suffering silence, each moment wondering what will happen next, at school, at home, around the world, Darkness is falling-

-and it's falling fast.

  1. The world is just weird this year. Between the clowns, gorilla memes, the election, and threats of war, I'm surprised we're still holding it together as civilized people

    1. It is just a really strange year. People will probably look back on 2016 and be like "that kids, is the year everything got pretty F*cked up." The clowns freak me out personally, Harambe! Percussion made a joke and Thatcher was like "sticks out for harambe!" And pulls out his sticks and then did a drum roll. Ohhh the election, what a thing, Trump has just gotten crazier and crazier, I mean really the elections 'rigged against you' it hasn't even been counted voting hasn't started yet! And with the Russians hacking and everything else it's a bit marvelous we still are a civilized people. I'm just scared for Election Day. But Steven told Max and I strange tip for the apocalypse, when you can't find clean water take bleach and toilet water and mix them and let it sit for 30 minutes and apparently it cleans it, wouldn't try it though that sounds pretty gross but it's apparently a fact.

    2. And Trump thought Hillary was on drugs. The bleach trick is actually a thing. I did a Tumblr post called "Piccs out for Harambe."

    3. I heard about that. Wow that's actually pretty cool. Max showed me that! Piccalos are really small.

    4. They're obnoxiously shrill and hard to tune too.
