As the title explains, today is perhaps the strangest birthday I’ve ever had...and the most boring. Not that living through a pandemic is boring in fact it’s really quite the opposite when you’re immunocompromised like yours truly, but being stuck at home unable to go out for three weeks, especially with my ahem *complicated* family situation takes its toll. The streets are dead quiet, no cars or very few at least, all schools are closed until May 4th which is a real shame considering it’s senior spring and this was not at all how I was envisioning my senior spring to go...I hope I still get to graduate and we’re not in school until July o_o that would not be fun. We at least have cake and ice cream and Disney+ to entertain ourselves? Once this is all over I’m planning to have a real proper birthday party with my friends hopefully over the summer.
Here’s to being 19 I guess, and living through a very very crazy time.
