Summery of the week

Hello, it's me. It's been a really busy week. But maybe, we could go over everything.

Let's start with Monday shall we? What happened on Monday, honestly...not much. Mostly just hanging around usual stuff. It was a good but tiring day.

Tuesday was a bit more interesting, We played a game of dungeons and dragons during lunch and Dan the Service Dog who Alex is helping to train with the SPED department. He's a corgie golden mix and is basically a golden retriever but with short little stubby legs and a really big grin.

Wednesday: This is the other main point of this point. In English we presented a poster and I had to do the drawing, though I knew it wasn't the best, My teacher called it "Pathetic, terrible, and horrible." In front of the entire class and the class laughed at us. So needless to say I felt like shit. Like I needed any more self esteem lowering thanks ms khan.

Thursday: we saw another ENT at Mass eye and ear today named Doctor Cohen and he was very nice and intelligent, he pieced everything together kind of. So we are going to try something called A Rodger System, with the Rodger focus and the Rodger pen, and see how it goes. During that consultation we are also going to test out a pair of hearing aids with a low program that won't amplify too much and then we will decide what happens next. Today I also saw my psychologist and we talked about everything that's been happening these last few months. I see her next Wednesday.

Friday: wait and see! Also Maisie texted me and she said she is working on more fluffy sin, or somewhat sin referencing fluff, who knows. All I know is that it will likely be very long. So you have that (oh and Jack should be back with a spooky post sometime next week) to look forward to. And Skyrim Remastered comes out on Friday and it looks really pretty but it's on the PS4 and that controller messes me up...I mostly play on my Xbox 360 and have no intention to get rid of it.

That's the update!

Until next time,
Max

  1. Why did your English teacher call you pathetic? I WILL FIGHT THEM.

    1. Because she hated my drawing for our poster. PLEASE DO. Alex also wants to fight her. And Mr. McCarthy popped his head in briefly to check in on us today during class with Jack over his shoulder, who waved hello with a grin. This is normal.

    2. What did you draw for the poster?

    3. We had drawn a representation for the quote "Disease has no eyes, it picks a dizzy finger..."

    4. I bet that inspired some creepy illustrations. Even if you didn't give the English teacher what she wanted, she should not have insulted you in front of the class.

    5. It did. It made it worse because the class laughed at me too. My parents are talking on the phone with her tomorrow

    6. Good. Make sure she gets a piece of my mind too. She'll need it if she's going to be an English teacher.

    7. Their actually going to see her in person, change of plan. I will make that sure my friend. You can write stuff down if you want and I'll make sure it gets relayed

    8. -Berating students like that is no way to teach. It just displays a lack of confidence in one's pedagogy skills.

-For goodness' sakes, it's not an art class.

-How about, instead of calling someone "terrible", "horrible" and "pathetic", you offer specific suggestions to actually help them?

    9. It's an English class not an art class. My parents are meeting with her sometime soon, so maybe we'll have more answers then. I agree, she didn't offer any specific suggestions to improve it.

    10. It's fine to give criticism as long as it provides a direction on how to improve and attacks the work rather than the person.

    11. Constructive criticism.

Also here's a sneak peak of a story:

. Dorian shrugs “okay I guess...if you count running around and I needed to lock the knife drawer from Stitches because your aspiring Doctor attempted to perform surgery on Dalish’s Halla. So you should probably check in on them. Grim on the other hand has been great the whole night. Helping me with trick or treaters.” Grim comes back with three cards “Trick or treat.” The cards say. “Tri-O- tre-t!” Grim exclaims flapping his hands and then running off and coming back with a cardboard box covering him. He roars and Bull laughs. Dorian sighs “he wanted to be a monster who lives in a box. And likes orange tissue paper and scribbles.” Noting the tissue paper stuck to the box and multi colored drawings all over it.

Kiddie Chargers are my favorite thing in the world. And Adoribull is a quality ship. Bull is basically like the Chargers (his mercenary company) dad.

    12. What did your characters dress as for Halloween?

Steve-A knight. (He may not have single-handedly taken out a few monster armies in the name of kids being safe trick-or-treating.)

Caitlin-A cat, but more cute cat than sexy cat. (She got jump scared, wouldn't stop crying for an hour, had to be carried home.)

Mark-A meme (read: a doge T shirt and bright red jeans). (He threw candy at random people yelling "It's raining candy!")

Landon-The person in the Land O' Lakes butter logo. (Needless to say, he was accused of cultural appropriation many times.)

Alex-A princess. (She got a lot of candy and ended up sharing it with all her friends.)

Adrian-Wore an enderman hoodie. (No one shot him thinking he was a real enderman.)

Matilda-A queen. (The kids loved her house because she gave out full size candy bars/bags and actually good toys for the kids who couldn't eat candy)

Alisha-A vampire. (She, too, gave out full size candy and saved little kids from getting blackmailed out of their candy.)

Emmeline-The first Alice from Alice of Human Sacrifice. (She went trick-or-treating with Kyle. They got a lot of candy and only a few raised eyes.)

Jordan-Himself. (He handed out standard fare as well as homemade cookies and put plastic wrap on his house because people were egging it so much.)

  2. I have a Roger FM system! I don't have the Pen though. It works well but pro tip you have to hold it like an inch away from whatever you are trying to connect it to. The directions fail to mention that.
