The peaceful times they have made us blind.
Know you can't fly, if you never try, you told me, oh long ago. But you left the wall, outside the gate, and more than ever it's real.
It was like a nightmare…
I slump to my knees in the dark, all alone.
I'm all alone.
A silver tear falls to the rough stone floor, and then another, and another. And another. More and more until it's like a flood. The water pools around me, reflecting on the moonlight streaming from the cracked dirty window. I look over at Lucien's body, cold, pale, and mutilated. The others left, with sly grins on their faces as they sheathed their bloodied blades. They slammed the door and left me alone in this cottage. Apple Watch it's called. But I call it something different Γ‘it na marbh...the place of the dead.
What are we going to do?
First the emperor is assassinated, then Mathieu bellamont and his insane plan to destroy the dark brotherhood. And now Lucien and Vincette, and everyone else, are dead. Martins running out of time if we’re to stop the oblivion crisis.
We have no hope left. We have come to the realization, our lives are forfit, the end is near. But still we search for an answer.
We can not look back, we have gone too deep for that. Now we know that they will not come back, all those lives who now lay at eternal rest, or worse. There is no room for fear, but still it comes back, rising to the surface at the worst of times.
“Failure.”
“Evil.”
“Unwanted.”
433 years of hard won peace have blinded the eye of the empire, the daedra had the perfect storm, the best time to strike upon the crumbling Uriel Septim.
“Know you can't fly, if you never try. You told me, oh long ago. But you left the wall, outside the gate. And more than ever it's real.” I laugh to myself and wipe the tears from my eyes. “Really? Your crying? I'd never think of that.” I get up and walk outside, Vincent's ghost appears “so he's dead.” I nod “I want to bury him.” I choke out before burying my face in my hands again.
Vincette nods and vanishes.
I'm living in a nightmare.
I'm all alone. Alone in this cruel cruel world.
What am I going to do?
TES Oblivion is one of the only games that totally wreaks my feels everytime other than Dragon Age...SOLAS WHY π«
Until next time,
Max
It never feels good to be lonely.
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't. Also my English teacher was really mean to my group today. She called our project "Terrible" and "Pathetic" in front of the entire class and the class started laughing. So today sucked for me on various levels
DeleteI will fight her.

DeleteDear Everan, the letter reads.
I was going through some old boxes downstairs, and hidden away in a corner of a chest I found these. The locket was originally yours but it somehow found its way downstairs. As for the frame, inside is an old picture. A family picture, that's all I'll say for now.
Sincerely,
Elsie Thenath.
