The monster in the alley... (Issy)

spooky tumblr prompt time! Also I've been watching full metal alchemist brotherhood and this is drawing inspiration from both things.

Cheydinhal Cyrodil 3E 433 12:00 AM

I walk through the empty streets of Cheydinhal, feet dragging against the rough cobblestones. Wrapped in a cloak of night and shadows, rippling in the wind, disapeering into the darkness...

And taking me with it.

There is a slight wind in the cool autumn air billowing the trees branches lightly making them move, like long arms with claws at the end. I sense movement, stopping in my tracks I wait, there it is again. My eyes sparkle with a light some might say is menacing, but what happens next to them is worse. I whip around casting a fireball as I turn, it hits the oncoming enemy in the chest and they fly back. Three more come out of the alleys, seems a necromancer is at the hand of this. Reanimated thugs charge at me swords out, I do a back handspring and vault lightly to my feet, drawing a dagger from my belt and a spell in the other. I place a shock runs on the ground, and as they step it explodes. Now there is two left. I slash one in the stomach and then stab in the chest, then spin on one foot, kick the other in the head and slit his throat. Now to find that necromancer. I run through the streets checking every dead end, every alley. Until I get to the one behind the abandoned manor. He hasn't noticed me, an imperial fellow, late fifties it seems, standing over something drawn in chalk, reciting an incantation. Materials lie in the center of the circle, an uncharged rune it looks like. Or wait, there is daedric marking on it, he's a member of the Mythic Dawn, deadra worshippers. The materials begin to blend and swirl, he's trying to make something, an offering, that idiotic bastard you can't make something out of nothing it's impossible! I run up to him and tackle him to the ground, he tries to draw him weapon but I pin him down and punch him before he can. I place my hand against his chest and cast a frost spell, it slows him and I get back to my feet, we fight more but I am too quick. I slide and take him legs out from under him then start chain lightning in both hands. I aim at the necromancer still trying to do his ritual, release and he yelps, shaking violently then collapses dead as a door nail. I kick around the materials scattering them about, mess up the summoning circle and search what the dead man dropped. A bag of gold, some alchemy ingredients, a book and a silver dagger. I then hear a grumbling sound and look at the pile of ingredients, which is now a black humanoid looking blob, oh gods what is this thing?!

What did you think? What should I write next?

Until next time,
Max

  1. Way to show that necromancer who's boss!

Can you write a crossover with Alice?

    1. Yeah! And Issy's a ballet dancer so she's very light on her feet.

Sure! What kind of crossover, have anything in mind? And can I have a simple sum up of Alice as well, just my processing difficulties makes stuff a bit tricky sometimes.

    2. Alice: A perfectionistic eighth grader, one of Caitlin's students (trumpet), and the one who saved Steve's life without wanting any credit for it

    3. Character Development As of Now: Alice is a little more confident than she used to be. She's in the Minecraft Youth Orchestra Symphonic Band and loves it. She is still extremely self-critical and gets down on herself for having the slightest bit of ego.
