I have returned terribly sorry for the absense I've been working on something that's rather long, it's almost done hopefully I'll post it within the next week or two who knows.
Anyways... I happened to be looking through my archive on Adobe Illustrator, the main program I use for digital art, when I realized that I had no good image of a minor character I have, named Liam. He doesn't appear much, only mentioned rarely along with his fellow minor character Emile Blunt (no correlation to the person I simply liked the name) and Liz, forming the trio of somewhat crazy and very sarcastic regalia. Due to the lack of Liam imagery I decided to draw him in a more detailed style. Though it turned out well, it certainly took quite a while.
If you're wondering why his skin is a bit of an odd shade, that's partly photo quality, partly how the colour pallete ended up being, and partly he's dead and stressed out so of course he's going to be pale. Wondering what he turns into? A glass bow and arrow and leather/cloth armor. He's a pretty cool guy but freckles are harder than I expected, digital portraits in general are hard in fact.
Finished product
Sketch/base colouring for eyes and freckles.
Fic and stuff is coming I promise.
Until next time,
Max
P.S would anyone want to talk with me about Hetalia as its an awesome show and England is probably my favorite.
Max:
ReplyDeleteLiam's hair is jet or ink black until I look very close.
"The trio of sarcastic regalia"! That's always something to have in your toolbox.
Are the freckles easy to move when you need to move them?
"He's dead and stressed out so of course he's going to be pale".

Would definitely like to talk about Hetalia.
I'm mostly into the manga version and I have enjoyed lots of drawings and fanfics.
If I think about it both the Italians are my favourites.
That's partly photo quality, I'll make a comic drawing of him soon and hopefully the hairs more accurate. He's got more brunette hair than black.
DeleteIndeed, you have Liam who a bow and arrow and armor, Emmie who's a dagger and gauntlets, and Liz who's a katana.
No, I mostly work on an iPad so I can't move things very easily but I can erase and redo.
He and Emile are mostly in charge of the massive amounts of paperwork and do not get much field time except on an on call basis in which they get whisked away to the battle field, get a bit beaten up and then go back to paperwork.
Yayyy!!!!!
I've only seen the anime but Alexander likes the manga and webcomic. I drew Japan and England the other day, as well as Yuuri in the same pose as China because he'd do a salute like that if woken suddenly.
The Italians are cool. Italy may be a bit of a clutz but he's a lovable clutz.
