I found a set of watercolours hiding in the back of where my art supplies is stored and decided, why not try to paint something? So I sketched out the Skyrim and Oblivion symbols (A dragon and daedric symbol respectively) and painted them in with a galexy like thing. It's not the best but I happen to like them.
I also did watercolour from a digital platform via Adobe sketch and that turned out pretty cool too.
Until next time,

ReplyDeleteI love that rainbow wolf! And the constellations. The background did turn out really cool with the icicles/triangles. What pressure was on the brush?
Symbolism is good for art. And you get the wet and the dry and wet-on-wet and dry-on-wet and wet-on-dry happening.
The last time I watercoloured was April.
I had someone go to the back of my cupboard too. Currently I am drawing something based on Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling which is on Netflix. Another Netflix thing I might watch is something about true crime.
Something about the raster and the outline. Some of it is very rough like the wolf's back. And the other side. Which was the first line you drew?
Thanks! The constellations were done with the eraser tool and the background was done with a watercolour brush at a 87% opacity
DeleteI still need to properly learn to watercolour. This was mostly experimentation.
Sounds interesting!
I had originally included a full opacity background until I decided I didn't like it and it wouldn't let me undo so I needed to erase it and made an outline around the wolf, hence the somewhat messy lines.
These are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I still need to add the stars though.
