Happy new year everyone!! I hope you all had a nice holiday season and New Year's Eve. This year was similar to last year, up and down. I took things on a day to day basis as it could be an otherwise good day one day and an awful one the next. That being said the year was not without positives to attempt to balance out the (overwhelming) amount of negatives. Let's look at what happened this year.
January:
*cue dragon age related angst*
Caitlin's dead now :(
I got diagnosed with VPI and continue ongoing treatment with an evaluation sometime in February
February:
I cut my hair once more and continued to non medically transition
Still continued to fail physics and maths
CHRONIC DEPRESSION OH WHAT FUN
March:
*raging dysphoria and anxiety around my bithday*
I did have a pretty nice cake though. The dragon cake.
Cute fic and sad fic and that whole Mindcrack suicide epidemic
Art stuff gradually started to improve (I think this is how I've grown most the past year)
April:
Attended my first band competition with the concert band where we earned a silver medal and Alexander fell asleep on the bus
Toward the end of the month I became very sick and was out for a few weeks, the stridor came back

May:

Sarah and I go outside
My hearing tech hates working so camp was rough but fun
July:
I made a little animation and rebooted my comic book idea (it's very slowly coming along)
Yuuri and Takayama are 110% done with relatives
Ev and Ali are lonely and Ev and Phillip have a lazy Saturday
Alice is dead now too :(
August:
I saw Jordan and Charlie in NYC!! We had a great time :)
I got a new computer and started school
Phillip and Co. Prep for an ice show while Yuuri does a vlog
Fluff/Fluffy sin (Partly me and partly Maisie, who says hi and sends her regards)
Steve is intersex?!?!?!
September:
Landon and Juliette have a chat, Valan feels like a hybrid, Maisie writes
October:
Painted a pumpkin and halloween fic, Phillip kicks Evs dad in the ribs, Yuuri's aunt makes an appearance
November:
Bayek of Siwa is an 11/10 good boi and Landon has a terrible day
December:
Assassins creed origins destroys my feelings, Christmas Eve is terrible, and Rober Zussman from CoD WW2 deserves better, Valan and Ali go on an adventure
Turner syndrome is a thing?? That I have??
That's the summary! A story will probably be up later today or sometime tomorrow! (It involves cats)

ReplyDeleteChristmas and New Year I was/am grateful for my health compared to 2016. Also there are canoeing and walking adventures in lakes and forests. [Boxing Day and sunburn from off-the-shoulder shirts though! - taking roughly a week or two to heal].

Yes, it does. There'll be more of that at some point. I've had a few ideas that have popped up but vanished before I could begin to write
In some ways yes and others no. My parents still are in the same place but we have been seeing Ad. Med for a few months now which is how we have the PCOS diagnosis and turners syndrome.
We are doing more outreach this spring I'm excited!
Even within the last six months I feel I've improved a lot with shading and colouring and my lineart is cleaner.
He wishes he could come back full time to concert band but I'm thinking of trying out for wind Ensamble later this year, I don't know if I'll make it though.
Valan was raised with a mix of Dunmer and Imperial culture. He grew up a Dunmer in the heart of the imperial empire which is not exactly the nicest to his people, or most others besides themselves, so he has a bit of conflict onto where he stands on the issue.
I've got some thumbnails sketched out and one part of the first panel done but it will take a while (a long while) to complete fully. Hopefully one day it'll be published!

Yeah, not really sure why, wanted to write from his POV I guess. He's an interesting character.
That was a day! And that I think will come up in an upcoming story I've yet to write but have an idea.
Zussman was born to a German Jewish family and grew up in Chicago. He's Ronald "Red" Daniels' best friend. Red is the protagonist. Zussman gets captured by the Nazis and sent off to a labor camp where the group later finds him about to be executed but Daniels saves him. They find him badly beaten and severely malnourished. He's probably my favorite character in the game.
