Catching up (Isabelle)
“So what are you doing here anyways?” Sammie asks as we sit in the common room of an inn. “Needed to do some business, and thought I'd stop by and see you.” I reply taking a sip of my drink “Business...in Raven Rock? Sorry but you're a couple of hundred years late Issy.” Sammie laughs “But I know what you mean, whatever it is you're doing it's certainly not mining.” She adds before waving someone over. I turn and look behind me, it's a Dunmer man I don't recognize. “Issy meet Teldryn. He's a former assassin, and a friend of Anna’s as well as us. Teldryn this is Issy.” The man takes off his helmet and shakes my hand before pulling up a chair. “How’d it go with that breakout?” Teldryn asks Sammie- what breakout are they talking about? Sammie shrugs “Not bad, Yuuri might have locked someone in a closet and Valan fell out a window but not bad. Oh and Neloth ended up coming after all.” Teldryn scoffs then turns to me “Do you know all he does all day is berate his poor apprentice and work on his crazy experiments?” Ah yes, poor Talvas, I pity him. “You forgot the drinking copious amounts of Canis root tea...and never sleeping.” I add with a grin. Sammie rolls her eyes “Yes we’ve established that Master Neloth is indeed a bit of a lunatic who loves verbal beration and witty sarcasm. now can we continue?” Teldryn pulls a piece of paper out of his bag “We need your help investigating something, it involves some assassins. We’d ask your other friend but you have more experience in this sort of thing. Next time we’ve got a dragon problem we’ll ask her.” He gives me the paper. “And ignore the upper part that's not for you.” That explains why it's written in Daedric. I read through the briefing. “When do we start? And who the heck are the Ulens?” I ask handing back the briefing. “Their a family who have a tomb here, long story.” Teldryn quickly explains. Sammie gives me a grin, “And we'll start soon, but first- Catching up.”
