Guess which mini Gay Squad went to The Gay Club??? Yes it was us, The Fellowship! Greetings humans it is I, the one, the only, the fabulous, Jack!
So what is GLoW?
Glow stands for Gay, Lesbian, or Whatever. It is the Wellesley High Schools GSTA. They are responsible for events and fundraisers that help the school, and the community's LGBTQ+ population. There is food, there is laughing (lots of it), there is pizza, there is well dressed humans because why not, there is hair dye and hair cuts, there is pronoun respectfulness, there is acceptance, it is a safe space.
What do we do?
We basically meet after school on Wednesdays, eat food, plan stuff, and talk Gayness. One boys mom said she can order pizza whenever we want. And the teachers are nice too.
Notable hilarity from today:
"Chocolates a band?"
"Welcome to the Gay club, we sit around and talk stuff."
"There was a bet on who could be the most well dressed Gay."
"Gay people follow me! (To the gender neutral bathroom)"
"I need a sign. So the smol gays will flock to me like they do to ---"
"This is a gay club of course it's edgey, just look at all the hair dye"
"-----'s favorite food is Mac and cheese I know I've seen her eat it!!"
"Yassssss Gay (with hand motion)"
"I went up to mr mulryan and he's still scared of me. I also corrected his sign and what do you know, it's changed! (This was Max)"
"I'm Trans and Gay of corse I love Dragon Age (the kid whose mom gets pizza, named D)"
"Whose also a huge nerd I want Gay nerd friends!"
"He's my bodyguard (me about Mr. McCarthy)"
"How about some veggies for favorite snacks. Cheesecake."
And many MANY more.
Summery: Gay Clubs fun

I believe everyone--straight or not--needs community, needs a "club" where they can fit in!! I am so glad that you--and Mighty Max--found yours!! ;)
