So it's now October and fall is my favorite season. It's really the only good season we have in the northeast. Summer is too hot, winter is brutal and lasts for months and we barely have spring. We may have four or five days that are nice but then it gets too hot and feels like summer. Fall is my favorite season for a few reasons. One the leaves change color and look pretty. Two you can make jack o lanterns around Halloween and go trick or treating. Three there is thanksgiving and I get to see my cousins who I don't see very much even though some of them live a few towns away, except for my cousins and relatives who live in Canada and Israel. In conclusion fall is my favorite season.
I had to write a paragraph for school on my favorite season and thought I would share it with you.
What is your favorite season? Tell me in the comments!
Until next time,
Meredith
Northeast winters are so cold!!! Especially these past few years. And even when the calendar says its spring, in reality it is either freezing or hot the majority of the time. Fall is just a comfy time of year with apples and pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteWhat you just said perfectly sums up my thoughts. I heard this winter is supposed to be even worse than last years!!!
DeleteNo! My sister gets really bad asthma attacks from the cold.
DeleteThat's not good!! I hope she doesn't get really bad asthma this year. My asthma flares up from exercise and sickness.
DeleteSpring: Sanguine
ReplyDeleteSummer: Choleric
Fall: Melancholic
Winter: Phlegmatic
Spring is my favorite time of year. It is when the flowers bloom (and then yield fruit in the summer). Spring corresponds with the sanguine temperament and the beautiful outcrop of life appeals to me as a melancholic.
I happen to have more of a melancholic temperament most of the time.
DeleteI'm melancholic, choleric, and supine. Melancholic and choleric are equally predominant with supine being a close second/third.
DeleteI love summer. Not bad, for someone who can suffer hayfever, but yes I do like summer, as it gets me out more. But although I like this time of year, I do like autumn, because of the changes in leaves and the crunchy leaves under your feet when walking in the park. The weather where I live in the UK is doing well for this time of the year. It is not as cold as it would usually get, so I am feeling spoilt. But after a long winter and spring comes around, I do like seeing the daffodils.
ReplyDeleteI like fall because where I live the winters are really bad. We got 3 and 1/2 feet of snow last year! And the summers are really hot most of this years summer was upper 80's to 95 degrees. We barely have spring. We have maybe a week of warm weather but then it gets to hot. So fall is the only actual nice season that we have were I live.
DeleteSpring probably, because I'm excited about the weather getting warmer and what a fantastic Summer we're all going to have. Then Summer actually comes and I spend all my time complaining about how hot it is.
ReplyDeleteIn New England people complain how cold it is in the winter and how they wish it was summer and then summer actually comes and they complain it's too hot and they wish it was winter.
DeleteFall is my favorite season as well! I love fall food. And I think the leaves changing color is just about the most amazing thing that happens in the world!
ReplyDeleteI like the changing leaves the best. We have this amazing beautiful tree that has these orange/gold colored leaves in our front yard.
