The land of silence (Abigail)

Yes it's story time with M once again, only this time we have a new character introduced. My hard of hearing bretonic thief, Abigail Center. Enjoy

Oh hey there, I'm Abigail. what's your name? What? I didn't quite get that, oh whatever. Never mind. So, you wanna know why I'm stuck in the backwater dumpy city called riften? Kind of a long story but how it  started was when I walked into this mess that is my life. It all started when I crossed the border...

I'm walking along in the Jerral mountains, a range that separates Cyrodil and Skyrim. On my way to "the land of eternal winter" my hearing aids died. Great now it might as well be "the land of silence". I luckily dug through my bag and found a spare set and put back on my dark red hearing aids, although noticeable I like them, there cool. I finally get through that blasted mountain range only to walk into an ambush, yippie. I'm then tied up,pushed into a cart and off we go. We end up going to helgan, a city in falkreath. But I manage to slip away from the guards and officer who's listing our names using an invisibility spell...very useful in my line of work hehe. As soon as I'm out and fairly far away I cut my bonds and head to the nearest city, Windhelm to the north. I get to the gates of the ancient city and a guard warns me "Be careful of that Arentino boy. That place is cursed, I hear he's trying to contact the Dark Brotherhood." I stop in my tracks, the dark brotherhood? Like the assassins guild? I ask the guard where that boys house is... I ain't going near any cursed houses no thank you nuh uh. After getting supplies, cloths and food I turn south. Your probably asking yourself "now why the heck did she go north if she's going south now??!" Well hearing aid batteries only last a week and I had none left, and I would (most of the time) like to hear conversations that are happening, that's also why I lip read. But I'm getting off topic, so I turned south to the skeverhole (a skever is a rat) of a city in which I live. Whence I get to the gate an obnoxious guard tells me I "need to pay the fine." I quickly figure out he's lying and he lets me in. I wander around the market for a while until a voice says "psst, hey you. Want to make some coin??" I turn to see a man at a market stand and he tells me his plan. I need to break into another merchants lockbox, steal a ring and plant it on another merchant. I manage to pick the lock and steal the ring but I don't plant it on the other fellow. I may be a thief but I like to think I'm an honest one. The man who gave me the job in the first place (whose name is Brynjolf by the way) invited me to join his guild. I've always wanted to join a guild, he said that they live beneath the city in the ratway. I make my way through the twists and turns nearly stepping on some traps and by stepping on I mean falling on, vertigo you suck. I eventually make it there and turns out it's the thieves guild! I thought he was a thief. I get my new gear, some lockpicks, a bed and a chest. I put my stuff away and as I'm trying to figure out where the hell to put my case for my hearing aids, a person comes over. I'm turned around and my hair in a ponytail so it's pretty clear I have something in my ears so she taps me on the shoulder and asks with somewhat of an attitude "what are those THINGS in your ears??" I take one out and explain "oh these things? Their not important they just make me hear." And put it back in, turn them off and then say/yell back to her "I am now in my world of silence I can't hear a word you say now. Same with when I take them off. Bye!" The girl who I later found out her name was Sapphire leaves. I make friends with the rest of my new guild mates, their mostly nice, Rune and Sapphire are my two main guild friends. As for my other friends, I have Isabelle Belet, an assassin from the dark brotherhood. And Olivia (Liv/Livvy) Curtin, our only not messed up friend, she's not exactly innocent in the context she's killed people who have tried to kill her but isn't emotionally/physically/mentally "screwed up". She's so sweet, once she even made me pie. It was really really good.
