So what's new?

I haven't really had time to blog in the past few days so I thought I'd give you guys an update. This week was my second week of school. I had a phycology  appointment in which we messed around with tissues and other than that had a pretty boring week.

Also to those who apply Happy new year! (The Jewish new year was this weekend.)

Until next time,
Meredith

  1. What did you do with the tissues? I hope you can amuse yourself with something soon.

    1. We tried to blow into them because of my stridor I can't make a blowing sound (I couldn't even blow out my birthday candles in March) so we are working on that and trying to breath through my nose because since last June I haven't been able to smell, taste, blow my nose or breath through my nose.

    2. How is it not being able to smell or taste? Does it affect your preference for food or view of food?

    3. It gets annoying but also some times is useful. I tend to stick to food that I like just because I know that I like it. But sometimes I will try new food.

    4. My smell and taste are enhanced; I am limited in my food options because most food is sensory assault. However, I enjoy eating anything that's painfully spicy. What about you?

    5. I'm the complete opposite I like mild foods and I absolutely hate anything slimey at sticky. I am sensitive to touch and certain sounds. I am limited in food, clothing and tactical input options.

    6. For me, food either has to be bland or so painfully spicy it masks all other flavors. I don't like clothing tags; the corners can feel like needles. Sometimes, they end up giving me unpleasant redness where the tag was rubbing my skin. I also tend to prefer simple, familiar, quality food over complex food. I am not the person in line to try parmesan pepper crisps with salmon foam. (Ick.)

    7. I hate clothing tags! They are itchy annoying things, luckily most of my cloths have cloth tags sewn into the fabric or no tag at all.
