  1. Can the "character most like" be in universe or out of universe?

  2. Any universe, for Valan I put Legolas/Master Elrond and Arya Stark depending on his mood and for Anna I put Lady Galadriel and I didn't write this but Daenryes Targaryen because you know, dragon queen and stuff. But it can be either in or out of universe what ever character you think is most like them from anywhere.

Do you have any character you were thinking of doing? If so, who and what are they from??

    1. I thought I might take the opportunity to introduce some OCs.

      Great examples, Meredith.

Am well familiar with various character sheets.

Here is how I did it in 2000:

Character Home for the Guernsey Collegiate

      Anne Williams character sheet

      Verity Rossiter

      Mr Peters

These are the only three that work. One profile of an older girl; one profile of a younger girl and one of an important teacher.

    2. I can see the Galadriel resemblance and also the Targaryen resemblance in Anna.

Ah - the Similarities bit of the subtest. It assesses some potent material!

In literature, too, it is a thing!

    3. What moods would the Ayra Stark resemblance activate in Valan?

And what about Legolas and Elrond?

    4. Very interesting!

What do you mean by "the similarities bit of the subtlest. It assesses some potent material"??

When he's in a bad mood or upset he tends to turn to his "darker not violent side" and if very mad will go kill something and come back and be "somewhat ok" the only completly Mentally stable of my characters is Olivia "Liv" Curtin. She's the only one not messed up or scared in some way. She's nice and sweet and innocent and the least likely to turn you to ashes or murder you in your sleep. I have mostly Hero's with a few antihero qualities mixed in. How he resembles Legolas is he is a rediculously good fighter with sword and magic, not to mention he's pretty funny. How he resembles Elrond is he is also very intelligent and just how they both act, with an air of dignity and are fairly tolerant even when provoked.

    5. Typo it should be "darker MORE violent side."

    6. "Subtest", Meredith!

I am referring to the Weschler intelligence evaluations, which has a subtest out of the 13 tests.

And yes, it is meant to provoke increasingly abstract thinking. Think about apples and oranges and what they might have in common/similar.

Really loved reading more about Valan and his "darker, not violent" side.

Olivia Curtin - yes! Characters like her are almost harder to create. Thinking of the Idealism and Cynicism sliding scale - check out TV Tropes in your holidays.

"Potent material": it tells a lot about your strengths and weaknesses in this form/field of thinking.

    7. Ah, I was misled here!

On Livefyre you can edit your posts for five seconds.

      Darker /=/ more violent.

    8. Ok that makes a lot more sense. Yeah typos I know I realized it after I published it. He's a very cool character I like him, he's interesting. That's one of the reasons I headcanon him as "The lord of Castamere" the song fits so perfectly. Innocent characters are hard to write even harder then flawed and antiheroic characters

    9. When it comes to ease of writing, I probably would have said anti-heroes are easy to write.

If your community has a heroic ideal in the first place and how far they can go to live in/out/up to it!

Lord of Castamere - will listen!

    10. Anti Heros are easier to write. It's hard for them because they have a lot of pressure, saving the world and such. If you look at the post Now the rains weep over his hall.. It will have a video and the lyrics it's from game of thrones

    1. Wow he's only 26!!!! He's a year older then Anna!!! They should meet sometime, it would be interesting. If you have an OC that is cis gender or is married, engaged, dating ext. you don't have to fill the "QPP" part, it's if people such as Issy and Lucien are asexual and they live together and stuff but there is no romantic/sexual feelings and they are just friends, only they may be a bit romantic sometimes but not every QPP pairing is. you don't have to fill out the "gender expression" box I just put it there so if people like myself have an OC that's gender expression is different than their biological sex you would fill it out. It's fine that you filled it out just FYI

    2. @Meredith:

appreciated the explanation of queer platonic partners!

"Only they may be a bit romantic sometimes but not every QPP pairing is".

"If you have an OC that is cisgender or is married/engaged/dating" ... that works!

Issy and Lucien's arrangement works well for them individually and collectively.

    3. Your welcome! It's not very well known about so I thought it would be a good idea to explain. Yes Isabelle's and Lucien's arrangement works well for them.
