Ali and The List... Part 1

in history we are watching Schindlers list and we still don't know where Ali came from. Now, we find out. (Loosely based of off schindlers list in the case of a list being used and people needing to escape. Much less violent and not relating to the holocaust and the horrid events that took place at the hands of Hitler and the NAZI's. My grandmother escaped nazi Austria when she was 19.)

"I don't remember my life before them. Before Mom and Dad, and Henry. I don't remember my life before the tower. I don't remember anything before being 'Alarian Cousland'. But I'm not like them, my family I mean. Their tall with brown hair and blue eyes and skin that tans and native to Fereldan. Im small and have gold hair and green eyes and white skin. I don't know where I'm from. Or at least I didn't before now."

The village that lies below castle Surana, the seat of house Surana. An elven noble family.

My maid comes running into my bedchamber panting "Mesha take your baby and leave. Now." Confused I pick up my daughter and ask nervously "why, what's going on?" Then a man comes into the room he looks at me and asks "are you Mesha Surana?" I reply "Yes." The man takes off his hat "I am Kenelm Stratford. I'm here to save you and your daughter." I look at my maid and back at Mr.Stratford "why are you here to save me?" I ask holding my daughter closer to me. "Mrs. Surana your husband is dead. I fear you are next. You are on my list of people to get out of here. Please come." I nod and quickly pack a few things and put the baby in a basket covered with a blanket. "We must be quiet and not act suspicious. Quanari soldiers will be on the look out for any suspicious activity." I follow mr. Stratford to the docks and we board a ship. We sail for Fereldan. After three weeks of sailing we land, and are met with soldiers at our feet. I give mr. Stratford my daughter as I lay dying from a fatale wound after the soldiers open fired on the refugees coming from the boat. She is mostly unharmed but for a large wound upon her cheek, and it will be permenant.  "Her name is Alarian. Keep her safe." I saw with what I imagine will be my dying breath, then everything fades and I am no more.

"Mr. Stratford found an old friend of his. The couslands and left me on their doorstep, still bleeding. I never knew my parents I had never heard from the man who obeyed my mothers last wish and saved my life. Never heard from or about him. Until now, where Kenelm Stratford is standing at my doorstep."
