  1. The comic style is your best style.

    1. I know. It's the easiest as well. I can do detail drawings as well but I prefer comic when I'm being lazy but want to draw and don't feel like doing details and shadows for at least an hour.

Can you name them? I want to see if you can based on what you know.

I do not know who is who.... But I love your drawings!! Especially the black-skinned one!! Is he/she--them--African American? I love it!! ;)

    1. Oh you mean Valan? He's my visually impaired Dunmer (Dark Elf) who have grey skin and red eyes naturally. Thanks! The closest race to African American would be the redguards of Hammerfell (Valans best friend is a redguard actually!)

      From top down it goes,

      Xavier Stephenson
      Juliette Kurfeld
      Lanriael (Lani) Cohen
      Valan Velothi
      Isabelle McKinnion
      Anna Lenox

    2. Wow.

I was able to get Xavier, Juliette and Anna at least.

      Lani is blonde/strawhaired?

      Valan is Valan.

      Isabelle is a little inconspicious.

      Very cool about the redguards!

      I love Juliette's hair too!

    3. Yeah.

      Good job!

Lanriael has dark blond wavy/curly(ish) hair that goes just above her shoulders.

      Yes Valan is Valan :)

Yes Issy is inconspicuous, she prefers to stay in the shadows. That's where she (and Valan and Sammie) do most of their work. Juliette and Xavier don't usually encounter enemies in the cities and most people aren't scared of Anna as much as their scared of her bodyguard (Farkas) and Anna can just start a flame spell and people back off. Meanwhile Issy and Valan work in places where you don't know who to trust and it's better to remain unseen.

      Yeah, go redguards!!

She has pretty hair, it looks cool in a braid. She's actually one of my only characters whose hair can actually be out in a braid, the others can manage little side braids like most elves in Lotr have but none can do a regular braid because their hairs too short!

Ah, Valan!! I like that he is different, set apart from all the others, because of his darker-colored skin!! Kind of like when American Girl--formerly known as Pleasant Company--made Addy, their first African American character/doll!! If I had not already owned Felicity--no regrets--then I'd have probably asked for Addy for Christmas!! By the way? I love Valan's red eyes!! ;)

    5. I do to, the Dunmer are cool. I'm currently working on his friend Sammie and his mom Sarah so you'll get to see a few more red eyed dark skinned elves (only with black hair which is the default hair color. Valan has some unknown genetic disorder that made his hair crimson red and his eyes nearly completely blind, among other things) I had Felicity as well! All of the dark elves (except one who works in the thieves guild) have red eyes, long story about that though!

You had Felicity too?! How cool is that?! We truly are Kindred Spirits, Friend!! That, or the fact that you and I both had Felicity growing up is a hilarious coincidence!! Ha!! Isn't Felicity great?! I love her character/personality/stories!! As a writer, I've always--even when I was growing up--appreciated authors. I love Valerie Tripp, who created Felicity!! ;)
Interesting!! Now I know a lot more about Valan!! Thanks!! How did you come up with such a unique name for him as Valan? ;-D

    7. Yes I did, most likely still do!
      We are friend! That's hilarious!!
I never knew who created Felicity. But you know what they say, you learn something new everyday!
You can also look at the Tag TES if you go on the web version of this blog and can look at almost all my post involving the series! Well, I have an index of names and was looking for a name that started with V. Now an online friend of mine Isriana has a character named Varrill and I was like "huh, I like that name. But I'll change it a bit and make it my own." Also there is a region in Morrowind called the Velothi mountains and so Valan became Valan Velothi, as for my other characters I either looked for something Elven or randomly thought something up! You have any other questions feel free to ask my friend!

    8. Very wise [about Isriana and changing Varrill to Valan].

And the regional connection is important too.

    9. Yes, I had somewhat thought of it beforehand but came to a final decision after seeing Varrill.

      Yes it is.
