This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things (Fyr)

I'm working on a set of short prompts similar to what I did for flash fic February this month that is a combination of short daily writing and working on longer pieces- enjoy the chaos!

I always hated Seagulls, they’re an absolute menace. They steal your food when you aren’t paying attention, they fly around in flocks causing chaos, and they are absolutely unreasonably loud. In my own personal hierarchy they happen to be right up there with Cliffracers on the scale of winged menaces, just below the devil birds that are Pigeons which are a primary reason I avoid the cities of Cyrodiil…and also I may avoid the imperial city due to some unsavory business that occurred with the Arcane University when I was a student there but that is besides the point. Standing outside the tower I watch the waves roll in slowly and crash upon the sand and rocks repetitively, it is peaceful here when not chaotic, Azura’s coast is uninhabited enough to provide solitude for me to continue my research in peace, that is, when I am not being annoyed by Ayron asking if I would like to be on the Council or Neloth requiring special ingredients or another magical artifact…or the Nerevarine showing up at my doorstep ill for yet another reason, or having to remind Beyte to stop being the incredibly strange person she is and to take her medication so she doesn’t confuse and disturb yet another person who comes to the tower by telling them something about how the people in the tower interact that is frankly not true and would be incredibly unethical. Ah, and of course I have to deal with the blasted seagulls on top of it all…this is why we can’t have nice things.
