Decode (Isabelle)

 How did we get here? Well, I think I know. It all began with a trip to the Imperial City, specifically the Elven Gardens, a primarily residential district known for its large houses and well kept green spaces. Under Jauffres orders I was to meet Baurus at Luther Broad's Boarding House, a local inn where he had been staying while investigating something going on in the city…and now we’re in a sewer trying to hunt down some cultists. I shouldn’t be surprised, I really shouldn’t, but sometimes I am regardless. After all, I had come to the city expecting to catch up with Baurus and maybe have a quiet drink or two before going on my way back to Bruma to report, but of course things are never that simple. As it turns out, Baurus was being followed, and after some hushed whispers at the bar he got up, and the mysterious man who was sitting in the corner followed him downstairs, as expected. Once downstairs of course the idiot decided to attack and we found a peculier couple of things on the body pointing toward a set of books, the commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes. That led to a lovely trip to the Arcane University who are always so cordial to me and definitely never tried to drown me as part of an entrance exam, at least they have a nice library- I always did enjoy dark academia. After obtaining the information Baurus and I ended up here, in a sewer, fighting goblins and zombies and cults- oh my! Having killed the final cultist cloaked all in red I search the bodies as Baurus looks at a map of the sewers to see the closest way to the sewers. There is a strange note about the even stranger book, I suppose we’ll have to get back to Bruma quickly, we have some important information to decode, after all.
